CHANDIGARH: The Punjab government announced occasion in Amritsar, Moga, Muktsar, Mansa and Sangrur locale, where surveys will be held again in 48 surveying stations today.
“In the wake of the re-survey in a few stalls of five locale in the state tomorrow, the Punjab government has pronounced an occasion in Amritsar, Moga, Muktsar, Mansa and Sangrur areas on February 9,” the state government said in a discharge on Wednesday.
All workplaces, sheets, companies, instructive establishments and open endeavors of the state government in these five areas will stay shut today. This occasion has been pronounced under area 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881, a representative said.
Re-surveying at the 48 surveying stations under Amritsar Lok Sabha body electorate and five Assembly sections was requested by the Election Commission taking after breaking down of Voter-Verified Audit Paper Trail and Electronic Voting Machines in these stations amid surveying on February 4.
